For over 15 years Chicago Steel Construction, LLC. has been driven to excel with one unchanging goal; to make our customer look good. It’s at the heart of everything we do, and what sets us apart as a new kind of steel erector for the 21st century.

In 2005 we formed Chicago Steel Construction, a sister company of Chicago Decking and began setting steel in Chicago, often serving as both steel erector and deck installer on projects, providing unmatched cooperation between erection and decking gangs, turning decked floors to general contractors faster, and more efficiently.

A proud union contractor, we give our customers the peace of mind, knowing that their projects are in the hands of experts. We’ve earned a reputation for taking on the challenging, high profile projects, consistently delivering above and beyond expectations, safely and on-schedule. It’s what makes us Chicago’s go-to steel erector.

We’ve built high-rises, hospitals, and college complexes; large scale precast projects and complex engineered steel structures. We’ve set steel with an 800 ton crane off a barge in the Chicago River, and designed and implemented our own in-house floating fall protection netting system. Through it all, through our growth, through the changes in the industry, our goal has stayed the same; to make our customer look good.
